Days Tour Program
Day 01

Arrive Chennai

On arrival at Chennai airport or railway station our representative having a placard displaying your name will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 02

Chennai City Tour

This morning after breakfast taka a full day city tour of Chennai visiting Fort St. George, Government Museum, Valluvar Kottam, Snake Park, the Kapaleswara Temple-one of the most famous Shiva temple in south and the Marina Beach-believed to be the second longest beach in the world. (Museum will be closed on Fridays and Birla Planetarium will be covered on that day). Snake Park will be closed on Tuesdays. By evening return to hotel to stay overnight.

Day 03

Chennai to Tirupati (165 Km, Travel time 3 to 4 hrs)

This early morning you will be transferred by road to Tirupati 165 km from Chennai. Tirupati is the most popular destination for Indian pilgrims in India. It is famous around the world for the scared temple of Lord Sri Venkateshwara. Lord Sri Venkateshwara is also referred to as Lord of the seven hills. On an average 30,000 Pilgrims visit the main temple every day. This most visited and the richest temple of India is also a magnificent example of temple architecture on India. On arrival check in at hotel and proceed for the Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateshwara. As a very large number of pilgrims visit this temple, we suggest for Special Darshan. There are two categories of special darshan, with tickets costing Rs. 40.00 and Rs. 50.00 per head. The entrance for Special Darshan is through the PPC (Queue Complex). The queue merges with the Sarvadarsanam queue at Bangaruvakili. Pilgrims who use this queue will have a shorter waiting time. After Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateshwara if the time permits you can visit temples in the vicinity like Sri Govindarajaswami Temple and Kapila Teertham at Tirupati, Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple at Tiruchanur and Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swami Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram. Overnight at hotel in Tirupati.

Day 04

Tirupati to Puttaparthi (290 Km, Travel time 6 hrs)

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Puttaparthi. Puttaparthi is famous for Prasanthi Nilayam Ashram, which is the headquarters of Sri Satya Sai Baba. The Satya Sai Baba is regarded as the reincarnation of Sai Baba of Shirdi and has a following from all over the world. Satya Sai Baba spends most of his time at the ashram in Puttaparthi. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Puttaparthi.

Day 05

Visit the Prasanthi Nilyam

This morning after breakfast visit the Prasanthi Nilyan ashram and have a Darshan of the living legend Sri Satya Sai Baba. The Sai Baba grants darshan twice a day. Central to the Prasanthi Nilyam is the Prasanthi Mandir or the prayer hall where spiritual activities and bhajans are held. You can also visit Ganesha Mandir, Subramaniyam Mandir, Sai Kulwant hall, the meditation tree and the museum. Return to hotel to stay overnight.

Day 06

Puttaparthi to Bangalore (135 Km, Travel time 3 hrs)

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred by road to Bangalore. This afternoon explore this beautiful city. Lal Bagh Botanical Garden, Bull Temple, Venkatapa Art Gallery, The Fort of Tipu Sultan, Bangalore Palace and the Gavigangadhareswara Temple are some of the attraction of Bangalore. Overnight at hotel in Bangalore.

Day 07

Bangalore to Mysore (140 Km, Travel time 3 hrs)

This morning after breakfast your will be transferred by road to Mysore. This afternoon visit the Mysore Palace referred to as the Maharaja’s Palace. The original palace built wood got burnt down in AD 1897. It was rebuild in AD 1912by the 24th Wodeyar Raja. This entire complex is worth seeing specially the Diwan-e-Am and Diwan-e-Khas. Other attractions of the Mysore are the Chamundi Hill Temple & the Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery and the most famous Brindawan Gardens. Stay overnight at hotel in Mysore.

Day 08

Mysore to Ooty (116 Km, Travel time 4 hrs)

This morning after breakfast your will be transferred by road to Ooty. Ooty is rightly described as the “Queen of all Hills.” The extraordinary sceneries make Ooty a great tourist spot. The misty dense clouds, the chill weather and the evergreen ambiance make things much fantastic. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at hotel in Ooty.

Day 09

Ooty

This morning after breakfast take a full day city tour of Ooty. The Botanical Gardens, Ooty Lake, St. Stephen’s Church, Rose Garden, Dodabetta Peak and Stone House are some of the attractions of Ooty. Return to hotel to stay overnight at hotel in Ooty.

Day 10

Ooty to Cochin (218 Km, Travel time 6 hrs)

This morning after breakfast your will be transferred by road to Cochin. On arrival check in to the hotel. In the evening, enthrall yourself with a special presentation of the colorfully costumed Kathakali Dance Drama at a local theatre; thereafter return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11

Cochin to Alleppey

This morning after breakfast transfer to Alleppey popularly referred to as “Venice of the East” and check-in to the traditional houseboat for Back water Cruise, which will be a unique experience in your life. No tourist can go away from Alappuzha without taking a cruise along the backwaters in a traditional houseboat. The houseboats complete with a well furnished bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. There are drivers and a cook on board. On the houseboat you can observe the everyday life of locals, pick up toddy (a mild alcoholic drink made from coconut sap), dig into grilled prawns and indulge in bird watching. And if you are traveling in the month of August you can witness the famous Nehru Trophy Snake Boat Race. Enjoy dinner on board overnight in the houseboat.

Day 12

Alleppy to Kumarakom

This morning after breakfast check-out from the houseboat and drive to Kumarakom located on the Southern coast of India enjoys a well-balanced tropical climate. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake. After check in at hotel visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, the best time for this is between November and March, when a range of migratory birds from Siberia make it their winter home. Some of the species include the Snake bird Little Cormorant, Crow Pleasant, White-branded water Hen and Tree pie. Occasionally you can catch the native kingfishers setting the waters ablaze in a psychedelic flash of colours. The night herons, the Golden-backed woodpeckers are added delights. At the fourteen-acre bird sanctuary one can glimpse many a rare bird – some of which, sadly, may not be around forever. Evening enjoy the sun set cruise thereafter return to hotel for overnight.

Day 13

Kumarakom to Periyar

Today wake up early in the morning for the grandest show on earth. The sunrise. In the mornings, the lake is calm, misty and sensuous. And the sun breaks with a smile and stretches its arm across the river to wish you good morning. After breakfast transfer to Periyar. The Periyar Wildlife sanctuary is spread across 780 sq km, of which 360 sq km is thick evergreen forest; this sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wildlife and scenic beauty, the Reserve attracts visitors all over the world and is one of the world's most fascinating natural wildlife. Further, the splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar, however are the herds of wild elephants that come down to the play in the lake. This afternoon enjoy boats boat ride and enjoy a unique the wild life experience. Overnight at hotel in Periyar.

Day 14

Periyar to Munnar

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Munnar at a distance of 70 kms from Periyar. Munnar is a nature lovers’s paradise with its sprawling tea plantations and winding lanes. The misty hills with tea plantations appear like velvet lawns on the gentle slopes of the hills. Some of the highest tea gardens of the world are located in Munnar. After check in at hotel Visit Eravikulam National Park, the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr. Other attractions of Munnar are Kundale tea plantation surrounded by a lovely lake and if you are adventure enough you can take a trek to Anamudi-the heist peak in South India. Overnight at hotel in Munnar.

Day 15

Munnar to Cochin (103 km, Travel Time 3 hrs)

This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Cochin & take a full day city tour of Kochi. Your sightseeing will include visit to Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Kochi beach, Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace or “Dutch Palace”. Chinese Fishing Nets: The Chinese fishing nets found here are the only ones of its kind in India. It is believed that traders from the court of the Chinese ruler Kublai Khan introduced these nets here. Dutch Palace: The Dutch Palace was originally built by the Portugese. Later, in 17th century, the Dutch modified it and presented to the Raja of Kochi. Coronation of many Rajas of Kochi was held here. The place has a fine collection of mural paintings depicting the scenes from the Hindu epics Mahabharatha and Ramayana. Fort Kochi beach: A stroll along the beach, particularly at sunset with the Chinese fishing nets and sailing ships in the background, is a fine experience. Many European style bungalows can be seen along the shoreline. Jewish Synagogue: The synagogue, magnificently decorated by Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers, was built in 1568. Giant scrolls of the Old Testament can be found here. It is located near the Dutch Palace. In the evening enjoy Motor Boat Ride at Cochin Harbour and thereafter evening free to walk around the beach or relax at the pool – side. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16

Cochin to Goa by Flight

This morning after breakfast your will be transferred to Cochin airport to take a flight to Goa. On arrival at Goa airport our representative having a placard displaying your name will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure, in the evening you can enjoy “Feni” an intoxicating drink made from cashew and coconut. Cashew Feni is made from fermenting and distilling ripe cashew apples where as Coconut Feni is distilled from coconut toddy. There is one more feni called Urak which is also made from cashew apples, but it is produces after the first distillation. It is a cooling drink popular in summer months. In Goa, don’t forget to order the Goa Cuisine in your dinner; you will really love the sea food of Goa. Overnight at hotel in Goa.

Day 17

North Goa beach Tour

This morning after breakfast explore the fascinating beaches of North Goa. The coastline of North Goa starts from Arambol and extend up to Fort Aguada making it a 30 km stretch of beautiful beaches. Following are the famous beaches in north Goa: The Arambol Beach (Harmal Beach), Anjuna beach, Baga beach, Calangute beach, Dona Paula beach, Miramar beach, Sinquerim beach, Bambolim and Vagator beach. Anjuna beach is the highest visited beach in Goa. The beach is known for its Wednesday Flea Market. It is also famous for the beach sports, parties, and shacks. Candolim beach is closer to the famous Fort Aguada. The beauty of the beach is increased by the view of fort on one side and sea on other side. The twin beach of Candolim beach & Sinquerim is known for its sheer beauty. The soft white sand spread, lined with palm and casuarinas trees will have an everlasting effect on your minds. The Bambolim beach is located near Panjim. The beautiful beach has been converted to a beach resort, called as Bambolim Beach Resort. The most important churches of North Goa are also located in Old Goa or Velha Goa a UNESCO-designated world heritage site. The famous churches you can visit are Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, Church of Our Lady of Divine Providence, Church of St. Francis of Assisi and the Church of Our Lady of Rosary. In the evening enjoy Boat cruise on river Mandovi and If it is a full moon light and you are looking for Goa’s famous beach parties Club Clubana is the right place for you in north Goa. Day 18

South Goa Toure

This morning after breakfast explore the South Goa. South Goa has some good places to visit, though not as good as North Goa. The beaches here are very beautiful and pristine. But facilities on South Goan beaches can not be matched with those on North Goan beaches. Some of the famous beaches of south Goa are, Bagmalo Beach, Majorda Beach, Utorda Beach, Colva Beach, Varca Beach, , Mobor-Cavelossim and the Agonda beach. The beaches of South Goa known for calm environment are peaceful and quite. The Bogmalo beach a small and sandy stretch is surrounded by three hills, lush with greenery is clean & less crowed beach. Similarly the Colva beach is a hit with tourist it remains quite and uncluttered for most of the parts of the year except October. Some of the churches of South Goa which you can visit are the Church of Holy Spirit in Margao, The Church of St. Alex in Curtorim and Rachol Seminary in Rachol. Overnight at hotel in Goa.

Day 19

Goa Free Day

Today is the free day in Goa to enjoy by your own. Stroll down the beach with cool air on your face or just bask in the sun and enjoy feni. Overnight at hotel in Goa.

Day 20

Goa to Mumbai by Flight

This morning after breakfast your will be transferred to Goa airport to take a flight to Mumbai. On arrival at Mumbai airport pick up and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free for rest or shopping. Overnight at hotel in Mumbai.

Day 21

Mumbai City Tour

This morning after breakfast take a full day sightseeing tour of Mumbai city. The tour includes visits to 26 meters high British-built Arch “Gateway of India”, Mumbai’s landmark built to honour the visit of George V and Queen Mary in 1911. Marine Drive dubbed, as the Queen’s Necklace is Mumbai’s most popular promenades and a favorite sunset watching spot. The Kamla Nehru Park from where you have a picturesque view of the city, Hanging Gardens are so named since they are located on top of a series of tanks that supply water to Mumbai. Pass by the `towers of silence’ the crematorium of the Parsis. Also visit Mani Bhawan a private house where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay when he visited Mumbai. It is now a museum and research library with 20,000 volumes, The Haji Ali’s tomb. Have fun at Juhu beach, children simply love this place; it is virtually an open air restaurant wit innumerable food counters. Return to hotel for overnight.
